Recently, two domestically produced formula foods specifically designed for children with rare diseases such as phenylketonuria, methylmalonic acidemia, and propionic acidemia have successfully obtained registration approval. This marks a significant breakthrough in the field, ending the previous absence of domestic production in this category. Notably, these two products are the inaugural batch to be greenlit under the State Administration for Market Regulation's priority review and approval process. This expedited process has dramatically shortened the review timeline, cutting it down from 60 working days to just 20, with on-site inspections and sampling tests being given top priority.
