Qualcomm has recently unveiled the Geekbench performance metrics for the 7-core iteration of the Snapdragon 8 Elite. Compared to its standard 8-core counterpart, the multi-core performance gap stands at a noticeable 14%. The Snapdragon 8 Elite stands as Qualcomm's premium flagship platform, with the standard version boasting an 8-core CPU architecture comprising 2 ultra-high-performance cores clocked at 4.32GHz and 6 high-performance cores at 3.53GHz. The 7-core variant, however, features a reduced configuration with 1 high-performance core less, thus comprising 2 ultra-high-performance cores and 5 high-performance cores. This alteration has a considerable influence on the multi-core performance.
