Liang Microelectronics has unveiled its annual performance forecast for 2024, anticipating a revenue of approximately RMB 3.093 billion, marking a year-on-year increase of 15%. However, the company expects to incur a net loss of about RMB 255 million, signaling a shift from profitability to loss. Specifically, the semiconductor silicon wafer business and the compound semiconductor RF chip business reported revenue growth of 24.82% and 115.08%, respectively. The decline in profits can be attributed to several factors, including increased depreciation and amortization stemming from the conversion of expansion projects, price adjustments, inventory write-downs amounting to approximately RMB 230 million, and fair value changes losses arising from interest on convertible bonds and stock price declines.
