In response to concerns raised by the domestic chip industry, the Ministry of Commerce has announced that it will undertake a legal review to assess the impact of low-priced U.S. mature process chips on the domestic market. Based on the findings, the Ministry may initiate a trade remedy investigation. The domestic industry has expressed concern that U.S. government subsidies have conferred unfair competitive advantages to American companies, resulting in the export of low-priced mature process chips that undermine the legitimate rights and interests of China's domestic industry.
