According to the Northwest Branch of State Grid Corporation of China, by the close of 2024, the installed capacity of new energy sources within the Northwest Power Grid had surpassed 305 million kilowatts, representing 56% of the total installed capacity. Specifically, wind power accounted for 127 million kilowatts, while photovoltaic power contributed 178 million kilowatts. This marks a doubling of the scale of new energy installed capacity since the end of the 13th Five-Year Plan period, showcasing a remarkable rate of development.
