JA Solar and China Energy Engineering Corporation Ink 1.25GW Module Supply Deal for Africa's Largest PV Storage Project

On January 14, at the "World Future Energy Summit 2025," JA Solar and China Energy Engineering Corporation proudly announced the signing of a 1.25GW module procurement agreement. This landmark deal is poised to furnish the "Kom Ombo Phase II 1GW+600MWh" project, Africa's largest photovoltaic (PV) storage initiative, with all necessary high-efficiency n-type PV modules. Developed by AMEA Power, the project will see China Energy Engineering Corporation take charge of construction, while JA Solar's state-of-the-art DeepBlue 4.0 Pro PV modules will serve as the exclusive energy source.
