AMEC has unveiled plans to invest a substantial sum of 3.05 billion yuan in the establishment of AMEC Semiconductor Equipment (Chengdu) Co., Ltd., a wholly-owned subsidiary to be located in Chengdu High-tech Zone. This subsidiary will serve a dual purpose: constructing a state-of-the-art research and development (R&D) and production base, and functioning as the headquarters for the southwest region. Boasting a registered capital of 100 million yuan, the project is anticipated to commence in 2025 and reach operational status by 2027.
To ensure the seamless progression of this ambitious undertaking and to mitigate potential risks, AMEC will fortify its technical team, intensify market research efforts, enhance communication with governmental entities, and optimize project management practices.
