Apple is poised to unveil a new iPad Air equipped with the M4 chip this spring, bypassing the M3 generation entirely. Internally codenamed J607, J608, J637, and J638, this iteration of the iPad Air will focus on enhancing specifications while retaining its current design aesthetic. Apple maintains a strategy of keeping the iPad Air's processor one generation behind the iPad Pro, and this latest release adheres to that pattern. While minimal design alterations are anticipated, the new iPad Air may incorporate Apple's proprietary 5G modem and an updated Magic Keyboard.
