Currently, DRAM and NAND Flash dominate the memory technology landscape, yet each comes with its own set of limitations. DRAM, while offering rapid performance, suffers from high power consumption, limited capacity, and elevated costs. Additionally, its data is volatile, meaning it is lost upon power failure, which restricts its applicability. Conversely, NAND Flash exhibits slower read and write speeds, and its storage density is inherently constrained by the underlying process technology. To address these shortcomings of traditional memories, innovative storage technologies have emerged. These novel advancements promise to transcend existing technical barriers and usher in a new era of innovation within the memory market.
