Lithium Battery Shipments Rose 32.6% Year-on-Year in 2023, with LFP Batteries Sustaining Market Dominance

According to data released by the Lithium Battery Research Institute of GGII, China's lithium battery shipments are anticipated to hit 1175GWh in 2024, marking a robust 32.6% year-on-year increase. Notably, power battery shipments surpassed 780GWh, reflecting a 23% growth; energy storage battery shipments reached 335GWh, surging 64%; and digital battery shipments stood at 55GWh, up 14%. Across all categories, battery shipments exhibited a consistent upward trajectory.
