SK Hynix Outpaces NVIDIA's Demand with Advanced HBM Development

On August 8, Chey Tae-won, Chairman of SK Group, convened with Jensen Huang, CEO of NVIDIA, to delve into potential collaborations in the realm of AI hardware and to solidify the supply of High Bandwidth Memory (HBM). Chey Tae-won affirmed that SK Hynix, a cornerstone subsidiary within SK Group specializing in memory chip production, has not only caught up with but has surpassed NVIDIA's demand for HBM development. Historically, the pace of HBM advancement had lagged behind NVIDIA's expectations; however, SK Hynix has now accelerated its efforts, exceeding those expectations significantly.
