Intel's Open-Source Vulkan Driver Integrates Preliminary AV1 Decoding Support

On Friday evening, the latest version of Mesa, 25.0, introduced preliminary support for Vulkan video AV1 decoding within Intel's open-source Vulkan Linux driver, known as "ANV". Prior to this integration, Intel hardware had already been capable of supporting AV1 video codec through the Intel media driver and the VA-API interface. Now, thanks to the Intel ANV driver, AV1 video decoding is also accessible via the modern Vulkan video API.
