The Raspberry Pi Foundation has made an exciting announcement: it will reveal the latest Raspberry Pi 5 development board, equipped with 16GB of RAM, during CES 2025. Notably, some circuit boards have already been labeled with the '16GB' indicator. In comparison to its predecessor, the Raspberry Pi 5 boasts a remarkable 3x performance enhancement. It features a powerful quad-core Arm Cortex-A76 processor clocked at 2.4GHz, coupled with 16GB of LPDDR4X RAM and a VideoCore VII GPU, catering to the high-performance requirements of AI and beyond. Furthermore, the Foundation has introduced 'Carbon Removal Credits' as a commendable initiative to mitigate carbon emissions during production and disposal.
