TSMC's Fab 21 facility in Arizona, United States, has officially kicked off production utilizing the advanced 4nm process (N4P) in its Phase 1 plant. The successful trial production phase has yielded comparable rates to TSMC's factories in Taiwan, heralding a promising outlook. According to reports, the factory has already embarked on low-volume production of Apple's A16 Bionic chips. With the anticipated expansion of production lines and the construction of Phase 2, capacity is poised to increase substantially.
