Shanghai has set ambitious plans to develop a comprehensive new energy storage industry chain, establish specialized industrial parks, and nurture prominent enterprises by the year 2026, with the objective of achieving an energy storage application scale exceeding 800,000 kilowatts. By 2030, the city aims to foster a leading enterprise boasting a market value of more than 100 billion yuan, while also expanding the energy storage application scale to surpass 2 million kilowatts.
