On January 9, Ruipu Lanjun disclosed that its board of directors had approved an investment plan for the establishment of a battery factory in Indonesia. This project will be executed via its partially-owned Indonesian subsidiary, PT REPT BATTERO INDONESIA. The shareholders of this subsidiary have agreed to augment their capital by a total of $139.5 million, with Ruipu Lanjun's indirectly wholly-owned subsidiary, Infinitude, contributing $83.7 million to this increase. Notably, the shareholding structure will remain unchanged post-capital injection. The anticipated Indonesian battery factory is set to achieve an annual production capacity of 8GWh for power and energy storage batteries and systems, strategically aimed at strengthening the company's presence in Southeast Asia, leveraging local resources effectively, and fostering the company's high-quality and sustainable growth.
