Advanced Semiconductor Engineering (ASE) plans to invest NT$123.7 billion to expand high-end packaging and testing capacity at its facilities in Nanzi and the Southern Taiwan Science Park, and to hire an additional 3,553 local employees. The three approved cases in the same batch involve a total investment of approximately NT$126.8 billion, spanning packaging and testing, key materials, and cold chain logistics.
