November 5 — Hit by soaring memory chip prices and console price increases, Nintendo Switch 2 sales nearly halved year-on-year in the second quarter. As of September 30, only 2.67 million Switch 2 units were sold during the quarter, down 41% year-on-year. With the remake of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time launching on Thursday, the market is hoping the new title will help drive a sales recovery.
