On November 4, U.S. stocks finished mixed, with the Dow Jones Industrial Average slipping 0.38%, the S&P 500 gaining 0.37%, and the Nasdaq Composite climbing 0.83%. Micron Technology, SK Hynix, and Nvidia each rose more than 2%, while AMD advanced 3.6% and Oracle jumped 5.8%. Apple, meanwhile, dropped nearly 2%. The Nasdaq Golden Dragon China Index edged up 0.21%, and JD.com added 2.3%.
