On October 27, Teradyne (NASDAQ: TER), a global supplier of automatic test equipment and robotics, recently released the UltraFLEXplus S series test platform. As an extended version of the UltraFLEXplus platform, this series is specifically designed for semiconductor manufacturing in edge AI applications, supporting multi-category and variable-batch production modes to enhance output per unit area and operational efficiency. The initial model, UltraFLEXplus S24, is a 24-slot system suitable for both engineering development and mass production scenarios, meeting the cost-effectiveness needs of Integrated Device Manufacturers (IDMs) and Outsourced Semiconductor Assembly and Test (OSAT) providers.
