On October 13, Elon Musk, CEO of Tesla, stated on the social platform X that once China masters the manufacturing methods for certain types of products, its ability to scale up production often surpasses the combined capacity of the rest of the world. He cited the lithium battery and solar energy sectors as examples where China has already demonstrated this characteristic, and also mentioned that China is rapidly addressing technical issues related to LPDDR5 and LPDDR6 memory chips. However, he noted that technical challenges such as those in next-generation high-bandwidth memory (HBM) architectures still remain to be overcome.
