Amidst the pronounced volatility in both the Hong Kong and A-share markets, South Korean investors have continued to make net purchases across a range of high-tech assets. In the Hong Kong stock market, data from the Korea Securities Depository reveals that as of October 12, South Korean investors have shown a net buying trend in assets such as the CSOP ChiNext ETF, SMIC, and Hua Hong Semiconductor over the past month. Remarkably, the net purchase amount for the CSOP ChiNext ETF soared to as high as USD 12.4579 million, with sales amounting to a mere USD 11,800, underscoring the steadfast investment stance of South Korean investors. Similarly, in the A-share market, South Korean investors have gone against the grain, increasing their holdings in companies such as Aoshikang, Demingli, and Zhongji Innolight, with net purchases totaling USD 1.3405 million, USD 995,600, and USD 588,100, respectively, over the past month.
