The USB-C interface has been widely adopted in devices such as laptops, desktops, smartphones, monitors, and docking stations. With the growing demand for high-speed data transmission via USB 3.2 Gen2 (10Gbps) and high-definition video streaming via DisplayPort 2.1 (UHBR10), a single USB-C port needs to flexibly switch between USB and DP signals. Traditional multi-discrete switch solutions occupy significant PCB area and are prone to introducing insertion loss, reflections, and jitter, which degrade signal quality. To address this, Injoinic has introduced the IP3652 high-speed crossbar switch chip. This chip supports USB 3.2 Gen2 and DisplayPort 2.1 UHBR10 signal transmission, featuring 6:4 differential 10Gbps bidirectional high-speed switching capabilities for flexible routing of USB and DP signals. The IP3652 is designed with an 8GHz bandwidth, achieving a differential insertion loss as low as -1.9dB and a differential return loss of -20dB at 5GHz, ensuring low-loss and high-stability signal transmission. Additionally, the chip supports AUX auxiliary channel switching, meeting the requirements for video output and high-speed data transmission scenarios. The IP3652 has a typical operating current of just 250μA and a shutdown mode current of 7.5μA, effectively reducing overall power consumption and extending device battery life. Its QFN-28 3.5×4.5mm package is compatible with mainstream Type-C MUX solutions, facilitating easy interface design upgrades for terminal manufacturers. The introduction of the IP3652 resolves the pain points of traditional solutions in terms of PCB area occupation and signal quality, providing a high-speed, low-power Type-C signal link (Note: " link " is translated as "link" in context, but kept as is in HTML if it's a specific term) solution for high-performance laptops, docking stations, and display connection devices, thereby promoting the widespread adoption and application of USB-C interfaces across all terminal scenarios.
