Synopsys recently announced a strategic collaboration with Amazon, with the two sides signing a multi-year agreement worth over US$1 billion. According to the agreement, Synopsys will leverage its silicon IP and AI-driven engineering software solutions to accelerate the development of Amazon's custom chips and AWS infrastructure. Meanwhile, Synopsys will optimize its product development processes using AWS services and collaborate with Amazon to optimize its software for Trainium and Graviton chips. Additionally, Synopsys's engineering team will adopt Amazon EC2 and Amazon Bedrock services to further enhance development efficiency.
