On the morning of October 8, the A-share optical chip concept sector exhibited a volatile and weak performance, with numerous related stocks experiencing a sharp decline. Earlier, market rumors had circulated about potential price pressures on optical chips, especially the 1.6T supporting optical chips, which were facing downward price trends. In response to these rumors, both Changguang Huaxin and Yongding Co., Ltd. clarified that they had not received any information regarding optical chip price reductions and refrained from speculating on the causes behind the significant stock price drop. Shijia Photonics also mentioned that it had not been informed of any price cuts, but suggested that the sector's adjustment might be linked to a research report issued by Morgan Stanley on October 1, which discussed the policies of the U.S. Federal Communications Commission (FCC).
