Netlist and Micron Technology have reached a patent licensing and settlement agreement, which covers all current legal proceedings between the two parties and Netlist's patent portfolio. According to the agreement, all pending legal proceedings between the two parties will be settled, and related liabilities will be waived. Micron will obtain a five-year license to Netlist's patent portfolio, covering patents related to server DIMM and high-bandwidth memory (HBM) technologies. From the fourth quarter of 2026 to the third quarter of 2031, Micron will pay Netlist US$30 million each quarter, totaling US$600 million over the licensing period.
