At the Hangzhou Cloud Town Conference held on September 22, 2026, Alibaba T-Head introduced its latest training-inference integrated AI chip, the Zhenwu V900. This new chip boasts a performance level three times greater than that of its predecessor, the Zhenwu M890, establishing it as the most potent Chinese-developed AI chip in terms of computational prowess. It is set to commence mass production in the first quarter of 2027. Concurrently, Alibaba T-Head also disclosed its roadmap for the Yitian server CPUs, outlining plans to launch two successive generations of products, the Yitian 720 and Yitian 730, in 2027. The Yitian 720 is expected to achieve all-around enhancements in single-core performance, core density, and energy efficiency. On the other hand, the Yitian 730, which is based on T-Head's fully independently developed CPU microarchitecture for the first time, is projected to deliver a single-core SPECint2017/GHz performance up to 1.4 times that of the Yitian 710.
