The 2026 Apsara Conference is scheduled to take place at the Hangzhou International Expo Center from September 22 to 24. During this significant event, Alibaba T-Head will introduce the Zhenwu V900, touted as China's most formidable AI chip, boasting computing power that is triple that of the Zhenwu M890. This new chip can support a single cluster scaling up to 500,000 cards, facilitating both the training and inference of cutting-edge AI models. Presently, T-Head has solidified its position in the data center chip market, encompassing essential chips for ultra-large-scale AI clusters, and anticipates a substantial annual increase in shipments. Alibaba is engaged in collaborative optimization of chips and servers to elevate the Token generation capacity and efficiency of AI clusters. Its proprietary M890 AI supernode is already capable of efficiently handling inference tasks for large models with over 2 trillion parameters, ensuring scalable provision. Additionally, in the fourth quarter of this year, Alibaba Cloud plans to add service nodes to further scale up the availability of supernodes.
