By 2026, advancements in AI technology are poised to propel the power semiconductor industry into a robust high-growth phase, compelling global power semiconductor manufacturers to undertake a series of price adjustments. Renowned companies such as Infineon, Texas Instruments, STMicroelectronics, and ON Semiconductor have sequentially announced price increases. According to an analysis by Caitong Securities, the primary catalyst for this wave of price hikes stems from a strategic shift in inventory management among overseas IDM (Integrated Device Manufacturers). These firms are actively boosting their inventory levels at manufacturing facilities to mitigate potential supply shortages within the industry. This move signifies a proactive operational adjustment, grounded in real supply-demand imbalances, and underscores the genuine and sustainable nature of the industry's current prosperity.

Concurrently, Taiwanese power semiconductor manufacturers, including Strong Electronics and Taiwan Semiconductor, are planning to implement a price hike of 10%-15% for spot market products in October. Capitalizing on the industry's high-growth trajectory, several companies, such as Hua Hong Grace, Orientation Semiconductor, Xili Integrated-U, and Liang Microelectronics, have witnessed a remarkable surge in their net profits attributable to parent companies, with year-on-year growth exceeding 100% in the first half of the year. Furthermore, market analysts consistently forecast that firms like Hua Hong Grace, Orientation Semiconductor, and Xili Integrated-U will sustain net profit growth rates above 40% for both the current and upcoming years.
