Hygieia Microelectronics (Stock Code: 688173) has rolled out four innovative three-phase brushless direct current (BLDC) motor driver chips—HL97355, HL97356, HL97931, and HL97288—that span a comprehensive spectrum of application scenarios. These range from low-voltage, fully integrated fan drivers, through medium-voltage external MOS pre-drivers, to high-voltage gate drivers. The HL97355 and HL97356 are specifically tailored for devices such as laptop cooling fans and low-power, silent fans. They offer highly integrated solutions that not only support microamp-level standby current for enhanced energy efficiency but also incorporate pulse-width modulation (PWM) speed control for precise motor management. The HL97931 is designed for medium-voltage applications, including massagers and power tools. It integrates a robust five-layer protection mechanism and synchronous rectification technology, ensuring both safety and efficiency in demanding operational environments. The HL97288 meets the high-voltage requirements essential for drones and electric vehicle controllers. It boasts an impressive 150V voltage tolerance and supports high-frequency driving at 500kHz, enabling superior performance in high-power applications. Through a scenario-based design approach, these four chips effectively cater to the diverse and differentiated needs of various motor applications, providing tailored solutions that enhance both functionality and reliability.
