Recently, the Beijing Economic-Technological Development Zone has rolled out the city's inaugural special policy tailored for the new materials industry, titled Several Measures to Expedite the Innovative Growth of the New Materials Industry within the Beijing Economic-Technological Development Zone. This policy pinpoints three core domains for support: advanced foundational materials, pivotal strategic materials, and avant-garde innovative materials. Furthermore, it delineates twelve crucial support initiatives spanning four dimensions: embracing innovation-driven progress, fostering the commercialization of research achievements, deepening collaborative empowerment, and bolstering resource allocation. The overarching goal is to comprehensively establish a central hub for the new materials industry.
