According to the report, as the KOSPI index ascended, the contribution of Samsung Electronics and SK Hynix to its growth steadily rose. Specifically, as the KOSPI climbed from 5,000 to 6,000 points, the combined contribution of these two tech giants stood at 50.8%. As it further surged from 6,000 to 7,000 points, their contribution increased to 73.2%. When the index advanced from 7,000 to 8,000 points, their impact soared to 94.6%, and from 8,000 to 9,000 points, an astonishing 99.0% of the rise was attributable to them. Conversely, during the KOSPI's decline from 9,100 to 5,500 points, the two companies' combined contribution to the downturn was 69.3%.
