MeiG Smart Technology has announced its intention to co-invest 100 million yuan alongside Zhaoge Venture and Xingyuan Optoelectronics to establish MeiG Opticore (Shanghai) Technology Co., Ltd. Specifically, MeiG Smart Technology will inject 70 million yuan, securing a 70% equity share; Zhaoge Venture will contribute 20 million yuan, holding a 20% stake; and Xingyuan Optoelectronics will invest 10 million yuan, acquiring a 10% stake. The newly formed entity will harness Xingyuan Optoelectronics' cutting-edge optoelectronic chip technologies, including indium phosphide laser chips, to spearhead the R&D, design, packaging, and production of optical devices, optical engines, and associated modules and subsystems. Concurrently, it will amalgamate resources such as electronic chips from the supply chain to undertake the R&D, design, packaging, and manufacturing of optical communication modules tailored for data centers.
