AMD's Senior Vice President and General Manager of the Computing and Graphics Business Group, Jack Huynh, announced the Threadripper Halo Station workstation. This system, hailed as a 'personal supercomputer,' supports local operation of large-scale models with over 1 trillion parameters. It is equipped with a 96-core Ryzen Threadripper PRO processor, two Instinct MI350P graphics accelerators, and supports up to 2TB of system memory. In the future, the workstation can be upgraded to a 4-card configuration, increasing the total HBM3E memory capacity to 576GB. All core computing components utilize liquid cooling technology.
