CXMT, a premier domestic memory manufacturer, has set a global precedent by becoming the first company to achieve mass production of LPDDR6. Xiaomi has announced that its Xiaomi 18 Fold will be the pioneer to incorporate this cutting-edge memory, complemented by its self-developed Xuanjie O3 chip, marking a collaborative milestone in the domestic SoC and memory sectors. Since 2022, the two companies have established a joint laboratory, assembled a core team comprising over 50 experts, and successfully integrated the technology after extensive technical collaboration and a year-long joint debugging process. CXMT's LPDDR6 boasts a peak speed of 12800Mbps, with a fundamental collaborative speed of 10667Mbps when paired with the Xuanjie O3 chip. It offers a maximum single-chip capacity of 16GB, employs POP stacking packaging technology, and provides all-around optimizations in power consumption management and signal reliability, surpassing the performance of LPDDR5X. Through this flagship product, Xiaomi aims to propel the advancement of the industrial chain and set a new benchmark for collaborative breakthroughs in China's semiconductor industry.
