On August 26, 2025, NVIDIA released the GeForce Game Ready 616.56 WHQL graphics driver, providing optimized support for new games such as Star Wars: Outlaws and significantly enhancing performance in professional applications, though the improvement in gaming performance is limited. Recently, the driver has been reported to have screen flickering issues, particularly in 8-bit color depth mode. Temporarily adjusting to 10-bit or enabling Windows' automatic color management can resolve the problem for now, and NVIDIA is testing a fix.
