On September 1, SEMIDRIVE formally entered into an agreement concerning the 'R&D Base for Edge AI Chips in the Yangtze River Delta Region' project at the 8th Wuxi Taihu Innovation Chip Conference. This base is slated to be situated in the Liyuan Economic Development Zone, Binhu District, Wuxi City. Acting as a dedicated chip R&D center established by SEMIDRIVE within the Yangtze River Delta region, it will primarily concentrate on the research and development of technologies pertinent to automotive smart chips. This encompasses the integration of cockpit and driving functions, automotive-grade edge AI, as well as embodied AI chips.
