On August 31, Junzheng Co., Ltd. issued a statement detailing the record of its investor relations activities. The announcement highlighted that DRAM prices have maintained an upward trend throughout the third quarter, propelled by vigorous demand and a supply shortage. This upward momentum in prices is projected to persist into the fourth quarter. Furthermore, prices for certain SRAM and Flash products are also poised for sequential increases in both the third and fourth quarters. Notably, large-capacity 512Mb Flash is experiencing a supply crunch, primarily due to escalating demand from AI servers. The company anticipates that sales of storage chips will experience an approximate 20% growth for the entire year. Moreover, it plans to introduce new production capacity resources in the latter half of next year. In addition, 3D stacked DRAM is primarily aimed at edge AI applications and is currently undergoing intensive development in close collaboration with edge chip computing power firms.
