Samsung Electronics is developing an 8-layer HBM4E product that meets NVIDIA's requirements, aiming to secure a key position in the supply of customized high-bandwidth memory NVHBM. The stack height of this product is lower than the initially planned 12-layer and 16-layer versions. NVIDIA has set a target speed of 17-18Gbps, representing an approximately 20% increase over the initial 14.4Gbps speed of Samsung's HBM4E sample.
