A tech blogger recently unveiled crucial specifications of Qualcomm’s latest sixth-generation Snapdragon 8 Ultra Supreme Edition chip. The new chip, identified by model number SM8975, introduces a 2+3+3 Oryon CPU architecture, marking a significant departure from the previous generation’s 2+6 configuration. The CPU setup features two super-large cores operating at a remarkable 5.01GHz, three large cores running at 4.03GHz, and three medium cores at 3.74GHz, complemented by an integrated Adreno 850 GPU.
In comparison to its predecessor, the fifth-generation Snapdragon 8 Supreme Edition, which boasted a super-large core clock speed of 4.6GHz, the sixth-generation Snapdragon 8 Ultra Supreme Edition elevates the bar by achieving a clock speed exceeding 5GHz. This advancement positions it as the mobile chip with the highest frequency currently on the market.
