On August 21, during the Home Appliance Integrated Circuit Sub-Forum at the 6th Integrated Circuit Design Innovation Conference and Application Exhibition (ICDIA 2026) in Nanjing, Kiwi Instruments introduced its latest innovation—the KP88C76X, a new-generation high-voltage fully integrated IPM solution. This groundbreaking solution features a three-in-one architecture that seamlessly integrates an MCU, a high-voltage pre-driver, and power devices. With this design, a single chip can now perform all the functions of a complete system, namely "MCU + driver + power + protection", and it also incorporates six 650V SiC MOSFETs. By harnessing the low-loss advantages of third-generation semiconductors, this solution eliminates the need for a heat sink at the 300W power level. Additionally, it streamlines the design by reducing peripheral components and interconnection nodes, thereby lowering the customer's Bill of Materials (BOM) costs. Ultimately, it achieves a dual optimization of both energy efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
