In a bid to refine top-tier strategic planning and bolster policy direction, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology has conducted thorough research and crafted the ‘Action Plan for Enhancing the Match Between Supply and Demand of Spatiotemporal Information Terminals and Fostering Integrated Applications’. Presently, the plan has undergone comprehensive rounds of internal and external consultations to gather feedback, and is slated for official release and execution within this year. Shi Huikang, Deputy Director-General of the Electronic Information Department at the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, revealed that the Beidou Navigation Satellite System stands as a pivotal spatial information infrastructure in China. By the conclusion of 2025, the cumulative shipments of domestically manufactured chips and modules compatible with Beidou are projected to approach 2.6 billion units, while the aggregate social stockpile of Beidou-enabled terminal products is anticipated to surpass 2.2 billion units (sets). In 2025, the overall output value of China's satellite navigation industry is estimated to have reached 629 billion yuan, marking a year-on-year surge of 9.24%.
