On August 24, Xiaomi Group (01810.HK) officially announced the launch of the Xuanjie D100, China’s first 3nm AI chip specifically designed for intelligent driving and characterized by its high computing power. Fabricated using a cutting-edge 3nm process, this chip integrates a 20-core high-performance CPU and a 16-core NPU with formidable computing capabilities. It supports up to 160GB of unified memory and is capable of locally deploying ultra-large models boasting 200 billion parameters. The development of the Xuanjie D100 has been successfully concluded, with plans for its official commercial deployment set for next year.
