According to a research report from CITIC Securities, the soaring demand for AI computing power is propelling an increase in the shipments of optical modules and prompting speed upgrades. This, in turn, is fueling a swift uptick in the demand for related analog chips. Both domestic and international leading optical module manufacturers have issued optimistic business outlooks. Notably, ADI, a global frontrunner in analog chips, anticipates its OCS business to experience a twofold growth surge from 2026 to 2027. Furthermore, starting in 2026, the optical module business of China's premier analog chip companies is also projected to expand rapidly, paving the way for swift performance enhancements.
