On August 21st, Dosilicon made public that its board of directors had given the green light to a proposal aimed at utilizing 682 million yuan from its excess funds for the advancement of a memory-computing integrated chip R&D endeavor. The project is slated to span a construction phase of 42 months and will find its home in Qingpu District, Shanghai. Notably, this investment excludes any related-party transactions or significant asset restructuring activities. Furthermore, pertinent matters still require ratification by the shareholders' meeting. As of June 30, 2026, the company's untapped excess funds stand at 949 million yuan (inclusive of interest and other earnings, subject to unaudited figures).
