On August 19, HiWafer announced that on the afternoon of August 18, Haite High-Tech organized over a hundred people to break into the company, pry open a safe, and seize the company's Party committee seal, official seal, contract-specific seal, and one handwritten seal with the name 'Ma Xiaoli'. The company has reported the incident to the police, but the seals have not yet been recovered. HiWafer stated that starting from the afternoon of August 18, no unit or individual is allowed to use the aforementioned seals to sign documents; otherwise, the company will not recognize such actions and will not bear any legal responsibility. Haite High-Tech responded that this action was taken by the remaining five shareholders, excluding the major shareholder Qingdao Haiyue, through mutual consultation and was not a 'seizure' but an act of safeguarding rights in accordance with the law. The dispute between the two parties stems from the struggle for control over HiWafer and involves multiple lawsuits and arbitrations.
