On August 20, Canan Semiconductor made an announcement regarding the introduction of its cutting-edge, high-performance differential Successive Approximation Register (SAR) Analog-to-Digital Converter (ADC) analog Intellectual Property (IP) products. These new offerings come in dual voltage variants of 1.8V and 2.5V, both crafted on the advanced 28nm Complementary Metal-Oxide-Semiconductor (CMOS) process. Both iterations of the IP have successfully undergone comprehensive full-process tape-out verification and have demonstrated their prowess by passing rigorous functional and performance tests. As a result, they stand as highly dependable and energy-efficient solutions tailored for communication signal chain applications. These IPs are ideally suited for a range of mainstream scenarios, encompassing 5G and 6G Radio Frequency (RF) transceivers, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth baseband systems, software-defined radios, optical communication setups, communication System-on-Chips (SoCs), wireless gateways, and edge-side Artificial Intelligence (AI) implementations.
