In a span of less than two months since hitting its peak stock price, the share value of South Korean enterprise SK Hynix has witnessed a cumulative decline of 48.61%. On August 19, SK Hynix (000660.KS) made an announcement stating its intention to allocate 40 trillion Korean won (equivalent to roughly RMB 192.8 billion) for share repurchases, with the aim of subsequently canceling all repurchased shares. Concurrently, throughout the shareholder return policy phase spanning from 2025 to 2027, the company is committed to distributing over 50% of its accumulated free cash flow back to its shareholders.
