Fueled by an unprecedented surge in demand for AI chips and constrained production capacities, Samsung has announced a price hike for certain new orders of its cutting-edge wafer foundry services. Specifically, the pricing for the 4nm and 5nm processes has been elevated by 10% to 15%, whereas the 8nm process has witnessed a nearly 10% increase.
