On August 19, TrendForce released its latest memory spot price trend report, indicating that the DRAM spot market continues to grapple with sluggish supply and demand dynamics. Trading volumes are projected to remain subdued throughout the third quarter of 2026, even as prices exhibit a modest upward trend. Specifically, the average spot price for the mainstream DDR4 1Gx8 3200MT/s chip climbed from $42.61 on August 12 to $42.90 on August 18, marking a 0.67% increase. Meanwhile, the NAND flash memory sector is experiencing a further slowdown in trading activity, with the spot price for 512Gb TLC wafers rising by 0.39% this week to reach $21.208 per unit.
